Electrosparx A one day technical, cultural cum sports event was organized by the department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Trinity Institute of Technology & Research on 6th April 2012.
Series of events were organized on the day :
- Nukkad Natak
- The Last Stand (Debate)
- Sarkar Raj (Sarkar Simulation)
- General IQ (Quiz)
- Engineers Got Talent (Talent hunt)
- Baaraat Dance
- Gully Cricket
- Tug of War
- Badminton (Womens)
- Flash It! (Photography)
- Wall Painting
The day started with lightening of lamp by the Director of the institute And the HODs. Around 15 teams from different colleges of Bhopal participated in the event.
The first event conducted was Nukkad Natak followed by Sarkar Raj. A large audience gathered and appreciated the participants. In the last stand (debate) various students from several colleges participated and enlightened the audience with their views for or against the topics given to them. Engineers Got Talent was the talent hunt in which students can show their talents on the stage may it be singing, dancing or mimicry. The event was judged by Mr. Nasser Hussain (poet), Mr. Vikrant Bhopali (The laughter challenge fame), and Mr.Amar (Choreographer).Next was the baraat dance in which the participants dance whole heartedly on the songs played by the DJ.
The sports events ended up successfully. Teams from different colleges participated in gully cricket and badminton. Tug of War was the centre of attraction from all the sports events.
Various arrangements of food and refreshments were made in the canteen and the stalls were put up by the students.
A blood donation camp was also organized on the same day in which many people volunteered to donate blood.The day ended successfully with the prize distribution and a vote of thanks by the HOD Electrical and Electronics Department.
