"Trinity means a trio, culmination of three into one"
The Christian doctrine of the Trinity teaches the unity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as three persons in one Godhead.
The Hindu doctrine highlights the trinity of Brahma-Vishnu-Mahesh. Brahma-the creator, Vishnu-the preserver and Shiva-the destroyer. Each God in the trinity has his consort. To Brahma is Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge. For Vishnu is Lakshmi, the Goddess of love, beauty and delight. For Shiva is Kali (Parvati), the Goddess of power, destruction and transformation.
The Trinity represents the Divine in its threefold nature and function. Each aspect of the trinity contains and includes the others. It is on this philosophy the name and logo of Trinity Campus was envisioned, in order to facilitate knowledge, beauty and delight respectively for mind, body and soul. Trinity does not stress at only knowledge to empower minds but it also advocates beautiful bodies and peaceful souls. It does not strive for academic excellence but also for social values, friendships, enjoyments and achievements.
Our logo depicts alignment of three arms corresponding mind-body-soul. And the stars in each arena denote empowerment and enrichment of each arm, eventually to create balance in the Trinity of mind-body-soul. |
